That depends on the definition of accomplish...
If by accomplish, you mean the prayer gets an answer, then yes, regardless of number the prayer gets more accomplished.
If by accomplish, you mean the prayer gets a favorable answer, then the answer is not always. Best case in point is the recent World Cup. I'm sure there are tens of thousands in each participating nation praying for their national team to win, but as only one can win, that's one yes answer and many no answers...
Then, in a practical manner, there are prayers made for personal reasons: prayers for financial gain, self-improvement, even the salvation of others will receive either a yes or no, now or later. The only prayer guaranteed to receive a yes answer is the prayer of a person asking to receive the Lord as his / her savior.
As for working, the flip side occurs. Your work will probably be accomplished (depending on your effort and willpower), but it becomes a question on whether it is acceptable to His will. A group may create many Bible studies, weekly get-togethers, prayer rallies and the like, but if it is not in the will of God for these to happen, then the effort is merely human and is not credited to you when you meet Him.
This topic is actually a long-debated one, and there are plenty of points for discussion. If you want, we could talk more about it in the future...

The 10000 clasped hands, may be praying for a miracle....that the two hands working can cook an awesome supper for all 5001 people. In this case, all hands are working towards the same goal.
It's all good!!

How about those same hands working while praying? Prayer can occur anywhere at anytime but one must take the time every now and then to rest and refresh oneself.

I don't know a whole lot about it but whenever the Bible talks about angels, they almost always seem to be working. they are delivering messages, pouring vials, guarding, opening locked doors, assisting in the smiting of cities...delivering The Good News. And praising God. I think the two go hand in hand.

It's equal..... you cannot have one without the other. Everything starts from a thought in one form or another. Just as the mouth cannot speak without knowing what to say, so too the hands will not know how to work.
