Suicide is never the answer because it is a permanent solution for a temporary problem
I'm 25 yrs old and I will still get out my crayons and a coloring book that I like and color or stay in bed on a Saturday morning in your favorite pajamas and watch your favorite cartoons. You can exercise (this is excellent when feeling depressed) and it's better if you can exercise outside in the air and sun. Listen to your favorite music that makes you feel good and sing it out loud and dance, you can write in a journal, call your friends and talk, help somebody else with their problems. It's a lot of healthy things that you can do to help yourself fell better, but never give up and never do something that is just going to make you feel worse in the long run. I hope this helps.

unfortunately enough most girl go to cutting themselves when they are depressed feeling that this is the way to make all the pain go away. which is wrong. recently my friend cut herself. it was so sad and terrifying. when the school nurse found out my friend went to the guidance councilor. you may have thought that would not help her. but she immediately started acting with more self confidence. just letting someone you can trust know exactly how you feel is the best thing to do if any girl is feeling depressed. i hope you are not feeling depressed. if you are plz do not resort to cutting yourself. i hope you find what you are looking for.

Talking usually helps. I prefer chocolate, a pt of Ben & Jerry's and a good movie after talking to a good friend. Nothing beats that if you fallow it with a pedicure and getting your hair done. Those things that make you feel refreshed and new. Like your getting rid of those negitive things if you feel this way for more than 2 weeks or you start thinking really negitivly try going to see a consoulor.

It sounds cliche...and dumb...
But eat something.
Chocolate is good.
Do something that doesn't require you to do a lot of thinking.
Depression get worse when people overthink things.
Friends are also good.
To be with them.
Talk it out with someone.
Do different things.
But before you take any medication?
Be sure to be clinically diagnosed.
You could be just going through a sad point.
Not necessarily depression.

Walk the dog....Run along the beach....or buy shoes..I try not to let anyone know if Im depressed because I don't want to bring anyone else down with me...so I do alone things...but have to keep active because sitting still gives me a chance to dwell on the negative.

I go hiking, or to a concert, or movie, or book store. All those things make me feel better. If I am really depressed I call my sister.

It depends on what is depressing me. Usually I listen to music, go shopping, or hang out with my friends.

When I'm really depressed I don't eat cause I'm sick to my stomach and I also listen to all my favorite sappy-love-sick songs and sit alone in my room and think about what might have been. :(
