today i went to a hospital to visit my friend who isvery sick & i saw a girl my age covered from head to toe in casts & old people suffering & it really bothers me seeing them. I totally got soo freaked out & my mom & friend could tell i didn't talk once. Also i had to see my friend lookin' all sick with a needle in her arm. It's really sad i hate hospitals & i can't stop thinking about the people i saw & how they were suffering so much. Even little babies in incubators

Well I admire you for going to visit your friend in the hospital even though you got freaked out. Yes, I hate hospitals but that's because I was in one for two weeks. I was in a very bad car accident and I was in ICU for 10 days and on the regular floor for four more days so I was in the hospital for 14 days and I absolutely HATE hospitals now. Mostly because they treated me like I was an invalid who couldn't do anything or think for myself. But you know what? I REALLY appreciate everyone who came to see me at such a horrible time in my life because I know it was hard for people to see me like that. And I know your friend probably appreciates you coming to see her. It shows that you CARE. Kudos to you! ;)

I work in a hospital and still get a little freaked out. Pretty common fear, lots of bad things can be associated with hospitals (good things too, but bad things make more of a mark in our minds).

yeah I am with you on that one. I can't stand hospitals, I am in them way to often [bit of a klutz and I play rugby, not exactly the best combination LOL]. I just try to remember they are in the hospital to get help and they will hopefully feel better.

yeah, everytime i go to visit someone, i have to be eating/drinking something, i faint almost everytime. i'll be walking down the hall and it feels like it stretches out and tilts alittle. i hate hospitals too.

I hate the smell, I hate the claustrophobia, I hate the regimentation. I see why people die there.
