Your town being taking over by Illegal Mexicans Or Illegal Arabs?

I live about in a town that is taking over mostly by Arabs. I think I would rather have Mexicans at least I could understand what they are saying.

I would rather have new immigrant Mexicans and Arabs than have most Americans. Better cultures and higher family values. Maybe I am misunderstanding your question, but sounds like a alien invasion of some sort. The immigrants in this country ARE this country. That is what this country was meant to be. A nation dedicated to their country while welcoming religious freedom and democracy. But it is not that way at all. Things have gone horribly wrong since that dream was reality. Your question is a fine example of that. If you are an American (can kind of guess by your question and mentality)I do not know where your ancestors are from, but if they were not Native American, then you my dear were once in the place of these people you speak of with such disrespect.

Yes, my ancestors came from somewhere other than North America. As did yours, as did everyone else's—including those of the Native Americans. Everyone's ancestors, in fact, came from somewhere other than the place they now call home.

In other words, every nation is a "nation of immigrants;" the slogan is meaningless and certainly no basis for public policy.

Because a policy was appropriate in the past does not mean it is necessarily eternally good. That my ancestors were immigrants is irrelevant to the formation of a prudent public policy today.

If my ancestors were pioneers, am I constrained to advocate pioneering and expansionism as the best policy for the nation? What would you think of someone who responded to you when you said you opposed expansionism: "But we're a nation of pioneers?"

Actually, Americans built this country. Immigration averaged only 235,000 persons per year prior to the disastrous 1965 Immigration Act. That's only 47 million immigrants over the course of our nation's history.Compared to our current population of nearly 300 million, that's not much. And then, if we add all the people who have lived before in the United States, we are approaching a billion total Americans who live now or who have lived in this country—all of them, or at least most of them, busy "building" it.

Illegals aren't going to "take over". And, it doesn't matter. If they do the work, they do the work. I could give two sh**s what race/religion they are.
