It is $19.49 and is effective than most ear mite meds. You also can go to your local pet store to purchase this perhaps for less as well.

I don't know if you're in the USA, but if so PetSmart and PetCo both carry a few products to help as well.

There are a number of ear mite medications available at the local pet store or through catalogs. Anything with pyrethrin can get rid of ear mites, *IF* you're willing to be diligent about cleaning and treating the cat's ears every day for 10-14 days. There are Rx products your vet has that can usually get rid of ear mites in one treatment; about 20% of the time you need a second treatment in a few weeks. If one or the other of these doesn't clear it up, your cat may not have ear mites but some other problem.

Petstores or vets sell it over the counter. Are you sure it's mites? If so, there is usually a lot of blackish brown crusty wax in the ear canals, and the ears are very very itchy. Yeast infections are common, and are usually greasier and a lighter brown color. But it's hard to tell just by looking. Your vet can look with an ear scope and put a sample under the microscope to check for mites. Then she can prescribe the correct medicine. Ears should always be cleaned out or the remaining wax/debris will serve as a place for future infections.

you should go to the vet. my pets had ear mites a while ago, and i tried store-bought stuff and it never worked. you may think that you're saving, by not going to the vet, but really when youre buying the stuff at the store youre wasting your money till you find out it doesnt work.
