i've been with my boyfriend for ovr 3 months. but unofficialliy we've been talking for over a year and a half. i think the relationship is serious but i think he sees it as a brand new relationship. is it alright if i ask him where its going? future plans? marriage?

i say u wait a lil or find a way to bring it up but just dont throw it on his face without clues becuz i believe that would scare him off and think ur crazy. if u cant find ways 2 give clues just wait a lil more and then bring it up when u guys r completely and fully comfortable 2gether.

LOL. If I were a woman I would ask the fella what he is looking for on the first date. IE is he wanting to get married in the next few years of his life etc. That of course could cost me a second date, but really, if he were just after the poontang and dumped me...isn't that a good thing for me?
Just a thought, if you can't talk about the future of the relationship...there is no future for the realtionship.

A relationship generates form one stage to another, it starts with "Love" which yields "Understanding" and then "Compatibility" to " future Views" which now results to "Marriage". It's right to ask at the stage of future views, so u check the stage you are on and know how much more you have to cover to that question. Cheers

id say to wait cuz u dont want him to b shoocked.. ive been with my b/f for 8 months and when we talk about the future together its feel kind of weird i would first like to know how he really would act towards me knowing that we are stuck with eachother for a life time and that we wont b able date anyone else..just think of what u really see in ur future wit him.. but wait and give him clues and make sure u show him how much u really love him.

i think that if you mention marrige, it would freak him out and put stress on him. but i think it would be no big deal to casualy ask. so how long do you think all of this will last. while you guys are taking a walk or something. or when hes holding you. and when he answers and if he asks 'what do you think' just say. i hope a long time. b.c i really enjoy being with you. but don't go as far to say marrige. guys stress about that a lot

When you feel you can trust him with what you tell him, when you can truly talk to him about things, and when you feel that things are going good. But don't ask to sudden or out of the blue becuz then he might think you want to break up. Choose your words carefully

Nah don't ask..just live the present and make it memorial....because you never know..i was w/my past bf for 11 months...and then our relationship came down....so don't think of the future....it's not good to put your hopes down...trust me..o.k...

ask him the minute he suggests getting intimate. If you wait and get involved first, you will find yourself in a dead end relationship where you wont know the future
