ok it was hard for me to decide whether to post this here or in the math section but i noticed something interesting and wondered whether it has any deeper meaning.
In math a perfect number is a number whose factors add up the number: 6 is the first perfect number 1+2+3=6, 1*2*3=6. the next is 28.
The fibonacci sequence is a sequence that starts with two 1's and the next number is obtained by adding the last two numbers:
1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55...
Now a sequence that starts with the first 2 perfect numbers 6,28 includes an interesting number:
6 28 34 62 96 158 254 412 666.....
The reason i posted this here is for the 666 which is supposed to be the devils number yet according to the bible god created the world in 6 days. opinions please?
Atheists please dont tell me god isnt real, i already know that

The sequence of perfect numbers begin with 6, 28, 496 and 8128, 33550336....

To begin with a perfect sequence and then switch to a fibonacci sequence, although interesting, is of no significance.

in the original printing of the bible, roman numerals would have been used. thusly, "666" would appear as "MDCXLVI".

the above sequence is every roman numeral in decending order. this could represent a decent into nothingness, ie - the devil, hell, what have you. this idea holds more water than simply "666".

any correlation with the number 6 is merely unfounded speculation.

and to respond to your orignial inquiry: numbers are numbers. if you do things to numbers, you get different ones. does the equation "3+6=9" mean anything more than it seems? no. neither does adding whatever numbers you said together. it's just a coincidence.

Biblical numerology is an interesting sideline in the study of God's Word.
Many numbers have significance in scriptures.
6 is the number of man
7 is a number frequently used to signify completeness
8 is often used in new beginnings.
10 or 40 can signify trials

Interesting:
66 books
40 different scribes

Thought provoking, but reading the Word is better than playing number games with it.

Why do you fundies insist on relating every damned thing in your life to either God or satan? Who actually gives a good gods damn about what the stupid number means, besides 666. Get your heads out of your butts and your bibles and look around you at the world for a change.

hi - thanks for answering my question with regard to the lighting fixtures, it is fantastic for me to entice close also that we were no longer on my own. As you recognize from my question, I too considered chinese lanterns, yet won't be able to see how they could be, i grow to be searching for the era of on the lighting fixtures and the 3x clusters of 6 I observed passing were acceptable replicas of each others. i did not be conscious a unmarried pink one following behind, yet to be common after a lengthy time period i imagine I beginning getting slightly freaked and needed to provide up gazing lol. My better 1/2 tried to seize the lighting fixtures at the same time with his telephone, yet they did not happen. He needed to bypass back outdoors to apply his uncomplicated digicam, yet i'd enable him back out as i needed each and each of the doors locked, lol! i grow to be scared!

i dont think it means anything. if God were to speak to us, i don't think he would have chose to speak to us through math.
