I have been battling with a tought decision for weeks now.
I just started working for this company a few weeks ago, but a new opportunity that I was waiting for months pops up.
In my heart I should stay faithful to my current job, but I know that this new opportunity will benefit my career. If God wanted me to accept this new job, wouldn't it have come first and I wouldn't have accepted this current position?
I have prayed about this, but I still can't come to a conclusion.
I have declined the new job once, but they already bougth the plane ticket for me to meet them for an interview. I took it as a sign and met with them. I would like to work for them, but I feel really bad in leaving my current position.
I seem to be getting mixed signals. When I declined the offer, I felt really bad and thought I made a really bad mistake, but now the offer is back and I still can't make up my mind.

I want to make sure I am doing Gods will, not just following some foolish dream.

Well, ask yourself if you can see God in all this.
Think for a moment: Through which Job can I bring more Glory to God?
If that doesn't help, then you need to pray against satan - he may be trying to confuse you. Tell him to be gone in the name of Jesus, clear your mind, and ask God what he wants you to do. If you still fail to get an answer, then perhaps you should try to read the bible a little. Ask God for a sign.
One thing is for sure: You need to pray to God for discernment.
And remember that sometimes, God's will is not your will.

You are confusing two issues...religious beliefs and practical and economic considerations. Your loyalty towards the company is touching but is it practical long-term? God has given you options in your life, but whether it is the right choice is for you to decide. Does it matter if you work at a fast food restaurant or in a luxury restaurant, or selling popcorn or filet mignon? You need to consider only a few things. Which will give you a better future, better income, job security or more job satisfaction? Leave religion out of it.

Pray about it and make sure that you are listening for God's answer, and not your own doubt or guilt. The devil is more than willing to talk you out of your prosperity, and there's a good chance that the second thoughts you are having about this new job stem from that. Have faith, and everything will be fine, listen and you will hear : )

Why do you think that your will is not God's will? My friend, clearly, you want to accept this other position. Do it! Don't wait for a clear cut sign from God. Simply the fact that you want to take it IS your sign. Follow your gut. That's where you find your signs from God. It's not going to come spelled out for you in big bold block letters. God is much more subtle than that and often communicates with us through out own feelings. Follow what feels best to you.

It sounds like God is testing and training you. From your description it sounds like you have the wrong set of priorities in determining whether or not to change jobs because you are only thinking about money and your career and not where you are going to serve and worship the Lord.

When I got my current job working for my Pastor's radio ministry I had an appointment to take a test working for the police department. It looked like a good job with great benefits and long term job security and the pay was about two or three times what I currently make. It didn't take me too long to decide that it was more important for me to serve the Lord full time than to put my trust in uncertain riches and things that will be passing away.

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Matthew 6:19-30

whatever you do would probably be God's will since none of them involves sinning, that narrows your selection to your will which hopefully would also be God's will, if you pray for doing his will, is the inventor of the ear not able to hear?
