Yes, quite often. I try not to argue though because I can't change their views, I can only tell them that they are wrong and leave it at that; yelling back and forth just makes people upset and that is not the way it should be done because you can't change anyone.

I think that when members of a family have differing religious beliefs that it's best to avoid discussing religion....which is what I do since I have Christian family members and I am an atheist.
If an argument were to ever occur I would probably suggest that we wait to discuss further till everyone had some time to cool off. If the family member was unable to discuss the topic calmly, I would just ask that s/he respects that I have the right to have my own belief just as I respect his/her right to a belief...then ask that we just not talk about it again to prevent further turmoil.

Nope, no religious arguments here, because the foundation of our family is RESPECT.
We do have a lot of really interesting discussions, though. Between my brothers, mom, sis-in-laws, fiance', and me, we have a Methodist, a Born Again Christian, two Lutherans, an Agnostic, a Pagan, and a non-denominational Christian.

When I first became a christian my husband was a sceptical about God. he just wasn't sure what to believe. We didn't argue I just started listening to gospel music and teling him about the sermons that I went to. I prayed and prayed they he woud understand for himself , I asked the Lord to help him with the understanding. The Lord listen to my prayers and now my husband in a Christian. My advise is pray and give the family member time. Don't push to hard or it can back fire on you. But stick to your guns and don't back away from the Lord yourself. The Lord will guide and help you along the way.
God Bless

yes my family is baptist and my husband comes from a catholic household and he doesn't actually follow any religion. the way i deal with it is let him believe what he believes and i just believe what i believe. i don't know what else to do about it. i don't believe in pushing religion on anybody.

My grandma is catholic and raised all her kids catholic. Funnily enough, none of her grandkids stayed catholic. It never seemed to bother her before, but the other day she said she had to pray extra for us (because we weren't) and that she would have to pull us up by our bootstraps. We kinda laughed, cuz she said it in a joking way, but it was weird...

Yes, Sometimes. I stick to my guns and stick to what I believe in. I never back down in what I believe in. Even if others think they are more knowledgable or that their religion is the right one.
