Ruptured appendix when I was 10. Was hospitialized for weeks - almost didn't make it. Numerous health problems since with the onset of heart problems at 12. Too much to get into, but I'd like to know if anybody else has had continuous health problems after the rupture of an appendix. Specifically, it was ruptured for what I believe was about 48 hours before medical attention was sought - the infection is what almost killed me and kept me in the hospital for so long. Now I have many health problems even today and I'm now 30. For my own peace of mind, I'm just trying to find a link to all of this madness. Any insight would be appreciated.

A ruptured appendix could have lead to the formation of "adhesions" around the intestines- which could be responsible for some of your symptoms (I am not saying that they are but could be)- if your current Md can't help you-- get a second opinion--
