Perhaps from eye strain, or stress, if you take it too serious.

The most common cause of headaches in children is the same for adults' tension. Tension headaches are caused by muscle tension in the neck, shoulders, and head. Muscle tension is caused by remaining in one position for a long period of time, such as when playing a video game or sitting at a computer.
Staring at a video screen for hours on end puts the eyes under great stress. Eyestrain can lead to headaches, fatigue, blurring vision and, the stress may contribute to nearsightedness.
Played in moderation, however, video games can help sharpen vision skills used in school, on the job, and in sports. These include eye movement skills, eye-hand coordination, visual reaction time, visualization, and side vision awareness.
Players should be at least 5 feet away from the TV. We recommend five minute rest breaks every 30 minutes of play. During rest breaks, players should look at things at least 20 feet away.
I go to the roof of my building and look up at the sky...rapid focusing on clouds, sky...jets going overhead...following the jet trails...buildings in the distance...etc...you get the drift. I work at my computer...so I can ill afford to damage myself with the PC that pays the bills.
Hope this helps.

After you've played for a while, the brightness of the monitor and rapid movement of the game itself put a strain on your eyes, which send signals to your brain that they're tired. Also, most people don't maintain proper spinal alignment while they're at a computer or playing video games, and the tension in your neck and shoulders can cause headaches.
