From deep inside come a hunger I can't feed

that yearn that ache that desperate need
leaves me here
desolate and bare
crying unseen tears
there lies a pain in my heart, a pain in my soul
ans this pain I can't control
flashbacks; stolen moments, glimpses of erotic dreams
aren;t enough to hold the seams of what its
together
nor is love's golden thread enough when the fabric it holds
spans the waist of a woman whose thighs together are 18 hours
switching left to right
from western to eastern cultures divide her step
increase my pain
slowly the tears, slowly the light
maybe it isn't worth the fight
