ok i am 32 and divorced, and i have a 2 year old daughter and a 6 year old son that i have joint custody with, my question is are kids chick magnets? i dont mean to sound shallow but its just a question, should i take them when i go to the grocery store and other places? i dont have alot of options. i am just curious!

i dont mean i would use my kids to get a date, nor have i even tried, i have just heard that, i love my kids to death and i would much rather be a dad than use them to get a woman. like i said i have just heard that, thats all.

Sure, most women would find it sweet to see a single dad shopping with his kids. But if she ever found out he did it as a "chick magnet" you would be tossed into the LOSER file.

Don't use your kids as bait.
And seriously....don't let any woman into your childs life untill you know that it is a long term relationship. Why drag them through something that you are not even sure of yet right?
So, are your kids chick magnets? It really depends on what type of woman you are looking for. Do you want some gal who is just attracted to your kids? Just attracted to the thought of being a mother to them kids?
The only thing this can positively help you with if you bring the kids around..... woman who definatey do NOT want kids.

ummm i think that they can be i mean i love kids but i learned from experience that dating most men that have kids can lead to disaster, I mean there is the baby mama drama unless both the father and the mother are totally moved on with their life. And even then there is the matter of if the kids will like the woman that u are with and all of that but i am really drawn to the kids so give it a try and who knows what it is that u might find

children aren't really consider a chick magnet. Which is sad to say... Women these days like seeing a guy who is able to communicate well with their children, but still have the ability to enjoy life. So basically it really doesn't matter if you take your children to the mall or at work..
As long as they see you being the best parent that you can be and putting your children first, it really shows women that your children are really important in your life.
Plus most women like a guy who has the ability to show a sensitive side to themselves...

Most women if they see a man with a child or two then they know that they can commit. So I would say yes. Try places that single women hang out. Like the park, or the zoo, or the grocery store is good.

Um some kids can Be chick magnets but dont pretend to be nice to the kid when your ids will tellt he truth sometimes youll be doomed! Also dont just use them you should want to take them to the grocery store. Not to be mean but there your kids!

Don't use your kids to get to girls. Be yourself. If you meet a girl you're interested in be upfront and tell her you have two beautiful children. If she cares, she'll want to get to know you and your kids. I'm always upfront. If they don't like kids, they can hit the road. I have a son and wouldn't like any guy to push him aside. Absolutely. I couldn't get my brother to babysit for two hours 1 year ago...... Now, my boy is 3 and my bro is 17 I can't keep them apart. Why? All his little girlfriends LooooVE his nephew and go to the mall with both of them. He also likes it when I go to his football games and practices..... The cheer leaders and girl friends are ALL OVER HIM!!! It seems to be very true....... ;P

I think its soooo attractive seeing a great dad!! Being a good dad is very attractive..but using your kids to get ladys isnt!!

Dear Brian,
Children are gifts from God. We abuse them by creating them and then tearing their homes apart. They have a mom. Do not use them. They need a dad not a step mom. If you need to date do it, but do not involve the children. THey suffer
