There's a girl that I really like. At one of our high school dances, she asked me to dance and I think that (I don't quite remember though) I might have, in panic, have said no. Luckily she just said, "yea, you do" and dragged me onto the dance floor. I'm afraid that after that she assumed I'm not interested in her and has moved on. How do I try to fix this problem? What do I do?

Ask her out, but don't tell her how much you like her. That will spoil her interest. But definitely ask her out! You have no need to explain yourself, because some guys flirt like that and she might have taken it that you were flirting with her. This is not a big problem unless you make it out to be a big problem. And if you try to give a huge explanation to the girl, you will come off as insecure and unsure of yourself. You have to act as if she'd be crazy not to like you, and that it's her loss if she doesn't. That's how it is anyway! Good luck!

you should probably take the time out and talk to her. explain to her that you didn't mean to come off the wrong way. try asking her out on a date. Maybe she will consider talking to you again. show her that you are interested. speak to her when you see her and maybe try getting her number. if you're too shy or nervous to do it, have a close friend go and talk to her. Have them tell her that you're interested in her and maybe you can start all over again.

Tell her you like her, if she asked you to dance that means she is feeling you too. I would mention the part when you said no, and explain that you got nervous. Good luck!

Just grow some balls and talk to her, let her know that you like her or just ask her out
