Pomegranates are not only offered in specialist stores and Indian stores...I buy them at Wal-Mart lol
But Pomegranates are hard to find because U.S. markets begin harvesting in October and wrap up by January...the season is too short...and that's to bad because I LOVE them lol
But Pomegranate Juice is sold year-round
But when October hit you can try going to specialist stores and Indian/Chinese stores but I usually just get it at Wal-Mart Super Center!

If you have an Indian (as in from India) grocery store, you may want to check it out, since that is a common Indian fruit, and more likely to available there. Or even any Chinese grocery stores.

Because they are a largely imported fruit, and will usually only be available at specialist retailers
