First of all, pro hardly makes a difference when you're talking about 20KB/s. The more people that have the file the faster it can go. Plus downloading from people with a high speed connection makes a difference. Limewire works well behind a firewall, but check if there are other firewalls running apart from the standard windows firewall. If you're also behind a router, you could forward the port to your computer.
You could also close Limewire and open it again.

Here you can find a good place where to download Limewire: http://j.mp/1lOKq30
I love Limewire and I'm an avid user. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. you should get limewire too. It's a good peer to peer software if you have to download mp3, movies, videos or file. Limewire is a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. You always have to be cautious about what you download. Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.

Are u using LimeWire Pro? I have DSL and it takes usually less than a minute to download a song... not sure about the video. I do know it also has something to do with the person u are downloading it from.

Your modem has a speed of 100 mbps but maybe you have only 256 kb of bandwith.
Is a p2p software so it depends what you are downloading.
I have 512 kb bandwith with a 100 mb modem and i download at 55 kb per second some songs.
PD:
Limewire has no spyware

Be sure you are not "Freeloading". I use DSL also and as crazy as it sounds, I get better download speeds when I am sharing my bandwidth. I think a lot of people block freeloaders. You can change this setting in preferences.
