Well I want to know just how powerful it is when you have a football match about to play.. You have 11 men on each team so thats 22 men, each of those men is a devoted christian and they all live there life by the bible. Before the match they all pray to the SAME god and ask for him to watch over them and keep them safe etc.. During the game some psycho comes and shoots EVERYONE killing them all.... Where was god? Prayer had no power here.......
Prayer helps no one.. How many people around the world do you think pray to end the violance? Pray to end the poverty? When has it worked?

Yes, it is a great channeling for the power of the mind when done right. The sad thing is it works almost as well for Evil intentions as well as Good intentions. Luckily the universe balances things by making sure that whatever a person sends out returns upon them ten-fold, be it good or bad.

Prayer is extremely powerful. I know that if people believe that, they rather than God can run their lives, they are mistaken. Many people have experienced the consequences of ignoring God. I read Psalm 35 to (Plead My Cause) on a daily basis. This covers whatever I have missed as a mortal soul. By my asking God to help me, I know that I am protected. I also read Psalm 4 for (Protection and Safety) and it is also of tremendous assistance to me. "The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation?" Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

Yes, I was healed of a breast tumor 4 years ago. It was there on Weds. Thurs. morning I checked in for the biopsy and it had disappeared.
When the doctor talked to me before my dismissal his comment was..." Our radiation department had this tagged as a class 4, they never miss by much. I don't understand it"

Of course I did and I let him know that I serve a mighty and glorious God.

It is also a bit scary because now I know I am definitly here for a purpose. There is not one thing that happens on this earth that is not for God's glory. I hold on to that and know I must glorify God.

I certainly do! I can attest to it personally! Paul said to be always prayerful. This does not limit us to on our knees or in Church. It can be in the car, while we are getting our hair done, while we are cooking, etc. Through prayer, God has healed my kids, helped an illness pass more quickly, help me to understand scripture, etc.

Yes, I tried for 25 years to quit smoking (very serious attempts at least two or three times a year)... and then I prayed for help... and quit immediately... no wild cravings... no mood swings... no yelling at people to get away from me... it was easy... and that was 8 years ago... and I have had no serious cravings since then.. even when I have been around people that were smoking.

I don't have statistics, but I believe that prayer works, if God wants you to recieve what you're praying for.

yes, it's our ultimate weapon against satan and allows us to talk to God personally, it's power is visible and invisibe, spiritual and physical. It's takes seconds and years for it to be fufilled. Sometimes the answer or thing we ask for is right in front of us
