Is it possible to make 3x three months visits with only few weeks separating them?!

If you stay for 3 months, my understanding is that you have to be out of the country for 3 months before re-entering.

I have heard you only need to be out of the country for 7 days. But, you have to go back to the country of origin. So, you can't come in, then go on holiday to Mexico for 7 days and it restarts. If you flew from say Spain, the you must go back to Spain.
