Are you looking to write to specific soldiers or just send letters of support to any service person? Below is a free site sponsored by Xerox--they cover the cost of printing and mailing.

you can't get the names and addresses directly to the servicemen because of the security issues. you should contact the american red cross or go online their are many churches and other non-profit agnecies that will forward teh items. also check with dod department of defense and the armed service branchs directly.

Well, I usually write with a pen on a blank piece of paper.

Seriously, why don't you find out who are serving from your neighborhood or town? It'll feel less impersonal to them and to you.
