know about any good boarding schools in australia? and are the seasons on the other side of the equator opposite of ours... because if they are, wouldn't people in australia be in school right now?

Boarding schools aren't a big thing in Australia. The bulk of them have been set up in regional centres for farmers to send their kids to because their are no schools close enough. My sister lives in Armidale which is in NSW and the New England Girls School is very well regarded in the area. I think there are a few boys ones there too.

As for school time - Australia has 4 semesters per year. The kids generally get about 6 weeks off over Christmas (summer) and 1 to 2 weeks off at the end of the other semesters.

Hope that helps.
