Find out what her reasons are and try to talk to her about it. If she doesn't like you because of your race, religion, or just doesn't like her son dating anyone then you are out of luck. BUT if she doesn't like you because of some rumor or something all in her head (say for example she thinks you are slutty and will hurt her son, or if she thinks you don't go to church enough but really you do) then you need to set her straight.
Your bf should talk to her and find out what her reason is and the n you should talk to her. Give her time. The gf / mother conflict is intense. You are both fighting for him and it can get nasty.

Find out why thru' your boyfriend.
Change a little to suit her requirement.
Be friendly, polite, help with some dish washing after a meal with them..
Make them feel different, you can do something..
