Victims' Response
It is not uncommon for a male rape victim to blame himself for the rape, believing that he in some way gave permission to the rapist (Brochman, 1991). Male rape victims suffer a similar fear that female rape victims face -- that people will believe the myth that they may have enjoyed being raped. Some men may believe they were not raped or that they gave consent because they became sexually aroused, had an erection, or ejaculated during the sexual assault. These are normal, involuntary physiological reactions. It does not mean that the victim wanted to be raped or sexually assaulted, or that the survivor enjoyed the traumatic experience. Sexual arousal does not necessarily mean there was consent.

According to Groth, some assailants may try to get their victim to ejaculate because for the rapist, it symbolizes their complete sexual control over their victim's body. Since ejaculation is not always within conscious control but rather an involuntary physiological reaction, rapists frequently succeed at getting their male victims to ejaculate. As Groth and Burgess have found in their research, this aspect of the attack is extremely stressful and confusing to the victim. In misidentifying ejaculation with orgasm, the victim may be bewildered by his physiological response during the sexual assault and, therefore, may be discouraged from reporting the assault for fear his sexuality may become suspect (Groth & Burgess, 1980).

Another major concern facing male rape victims is society's belief that men should be able to protect themselves and, therefore, it is somehow their fault that they were raped. The experience of a rape may affect gay and heterosexual men differently. Most rape counselors point out that gay men have difficulties in their sexual and emotional relationships with other men and think that the assault occurred because they are gay, whereas straight men often begin to question their sexual identity and are more disturbed by the sexual aspect of the assault than the violence involved (Brochman, 1991).

Let us review the laws on rape. It says that is forcing someone to engage in sex without their permission, period. These laws are the ones that have been passed by the demand of you women.

For example, it is possible that a woman might really wish to have sex with me, perhaps because she likes me or its her ovulation, but for religious reasons or because she is married and wishes to honor her marriage vows to her husband, she chooses not to do it. Would you say it is okay if I go ahead and force her anyway? And, if I am charged with felonious rape, I can say, hey, it wasn't rape, she really wanted to do it?

I sure hope you know better than that.

So, even if a man has an e******n, and is thus capable of sex, he still has the right to say no for any reason, just as a woman does.

Gosh, why is that so hard to understand? After all, for the last 30 years, you women have been telling us men we just don't understand about rape. Oh, really?

This is all about sexism, most of which is done by women, and directed against men.

I saw that episode too. Regardless, yes men can be raped. Obviously by other men and surprisingly to some, by women as well. An erection sometimes happens against the man's will and that's what happened to the character on the show. Women can take advantage of that but men who have been raped by women usually don't want to admit that they were sexually attacked by a woman.

Well if the guy is tied up then yeah, you can rape him. You just get on for the ride.

Another thing, men can get an erection just seeing an attractive female naked. They don't have to want it.

Legally, if he doesn't give consent, then it is rape

He can be forced into it emotionally or psychologically, and it is of course possible to physically force a man to enter another's body

only one way for a girl to rape a boy. Get him all hot and bothered and not let him have it. Get real. An erection isn't going to last if a boy doesn't have a reason. certainly not thru three women

Of course. Rape is defined as forced sex. If a person is forced, it is rape, and doesn't matter what sex the person is.

;-( Rape is not funny.
