Me! My ex-husband and I had five. When we split, I moved out of the house and couldn't take them with me. As he was going back to Saudi to work, I had to find homes for all of them. Luckily found good homes - one mate took two, and a friend of his the other three. That was years ago.
Recently I split with my boyfriend - we have two cats, Khattman and Chloe. Again, I've moved out and left the cats with him - he doesn't work so I reckon it'll give him something to think about and look after rather than wallowing on his own. It's cost me a fortune to set up a new home, but because he has the cats, I still pay the utility bills at his place, as well as the top-up rent, and can't walk past the catfood aisle at the supermarket without my eyes filling up. Mad? Probably. But that's the love of cats for you. xx (Check out my photo album on my 360 page!)

Cats are excellent pets because they are affectionate but very independent which is the very reason some people don't like them.
Cats will take care of themselves.
Dogs, on the other hand, are pack animals which makes them natural born suck-ups. That's why many people prefer dogs.
Myself, I'll take the cat.

Cats are great! I love animals, but cats have always been my favorites- I have 3 sweet girl kitties who I can't imagine not having around! If I had a bigger house, I would probably have more...

I use to be one of those folks who said"Cats do not belong in the house"-but a certain kitten gotten from the local animal shelter-changed all that! She taught me this:
One can not OWN a cat.
Cats CONSENT to let you live with them, they let you pay the rent, they let you buy their food(no promises they will eat it)
If you are REALLY lucky,a cat will ALLOW you to pet them(if they are in the mood.)
But cats are useful too.True hunters. Lovable balls of fur, that consent to bring a smile to your face!

I love cats. I've only had one cat, but I am hooked for life. They are so caring and loving...plus you don't have to take them for a walk.

Love cats and can't remember when I didn't have as pets.Presently have 1-Sweetie and love her. She's my little companion for when I'm home, relaaxing in my chair she snuggles on my lap and when she wants to be petted she'll tap me slightly with her paw. She's a tabby and a flufy-furred pretty cat with green eyes.I mix Brewers yeast-1/2 to 1 tsp in with her food and her fur is lovely.Although she's a elderly cat 13 years-she's spry, loves to play and still has mischief in her.,I can't imagine not having a cat. They're special for they choose to love you.

How does one define love for a feline? We all have our own special way (hopefully all kind ways) of showing our affection for our furry friends.

I devoted myself to study and practice animal training and behavioural management particularly for felines--domestic and exotic. I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with other feline lovers about how training can offer our cats a more enriched life with us as well as show our canine family friends that cats are equally or more intelligent than the dogs too. :

Would this be considered love for a kitty? ;-)
