You have to look at it like this:

There ARE no mistakes. All you did is what you felt was right. If she's got a problem with that, it's HER problem, isn't it?

Don't sweat it. . .that kind of thing will happen 10 times a day if you over-analyze life.

When a girl maintains eye contact (and you should definitely maintain it back for at least a while, preferably until she looks away) it is a SOI (sign of interest). It's a good thing and basically a sign that you should approach and talk to her. If you don't approach or you don't maintain eye contact for long then (subconsciously) she will demote you to "low staus" (as opposed to a "high staus male").

Sure you have to get off the bus but if you had a full minute all you had to do was say hi and throw in some other comment to lock things in for next time you see her. Do yourself a favor and next time you see her make eye contact AND THEN APPROACH HER AND TALK TO HER! THAT'S WHAT SHE WANTS YOU TO DO! In a slight way it may offend her but it won't lower her status in her eyes... it lowers yours when you don't approach.

Your shyness is not something that is uncommon. Most guys (at least in America) are shy when approaching girls and especially fearful of rejection. These, unfortunately, are also signs of low self-esteem.

The #1 attractor for girls, and most girls will attest, is self-esteem/confidence. This is not saying that it is a turn on when someone is overly confident or too cocky (and quite to the contrary, I believe these are signs of low self-esteem especially *boasting and bragging*).

When your self esteem starts to raise you will start to realize that rejection by girls is really nothing personal and is absolutely unavoidable on the grand scale. Even the best Pick-Up Artists who have spent hours and days studying the psychology and underlying tactics of the man-woman dynamic still say they end up with the majority of approaches ending in rejection. THERE IS JUST NO WAY AROUND REJECTION if you want to find a good mate. But with each rejection you may learn something useful that can help improve your approaches in the future.

Self-esteem is something that you need to raise, I recommend reading books on the subject, especially the book that I have referenced. It has done wonders for me and the people I recommend it to. Plus it won't hurt since this part of your life, just like the rest of us, is a very important part in having a healthy life and healthy relationships with other people.

Check it out.

There are many sites on dating and usually the first question is how do you ask someone out. Many people resort to "Lines". Here are some of the funniest ways people have asked people out in Church.

At the bottom I will reveal the embarrassing details of how I asked MY wife out. (Don’t cheat read them all)

* Nice Bible
* You know Jesus?! Me, too!
* God told me to come talk to you.
* I know a church where we could go and talk.
* How about a hug, sister?

Approach her as a person and when you pass, always smile. Soon, that smile will turn into a 'hi' and then ask her about her studies and school.

The point is to take it slow and PlaN A heaD...

hugh hefner...
i think the key is to not to particulary think that she is beautiful.. and treat her like a person..
i think we are at our best in romantic situations when not too much is on the line so one can be oneself..
the key meeting people and relationships is to be yourself... forget the lines... play it straight... and pay attention to what they are saying.
