I am not sure what you mean by "hair plumper" but I am assuming it is some kind of styling aid. If you don't like the stickiness of hair products you should try the Straightening Serum by Pureology. It doesn't have much stick but helps get the hair smooth and shiny. Also, use a round brush but only when your hair is about 90% dry so that you don't get tangled up and it will also be less work. I bought a Revlon dryer at Walmart that has an ionic button on it and it seems to keep the frizz down as well. Pureology also has shampoo and conditioner that will help smooth out your hair. www.pureology.com

Unfortunately you cant just recreate a style without product if your hair is not EXACTLY like the picture.. You can use REDKEN ALIGN which is a smoothing cream that really works. Its has an inter bound conditioning system built into it to provide control for manageability and protection from the heat of a hair drier. Also you should buy a professional hair dryer from your salon because a pro grade gets allot hotter than a conair or some other reg brand.. there really is a difference in what you .get at the drugstore and what your stylist recommends... GOOD LUCK...PS you should NEVER blow dry a hair spry INTO your hair...Hair spray is a finishing product...You only need a plumper if you have fine hair

A round brush, the fatter the better, and a blowdryer will straighten your hair. If you spray each section with hairspray before and after you dry it, it will hold better. Also, depending on your hair type, Frizz-ease or another anti-frizz product will also help. Avoiding humidity when possible will also keep it straighter.
Without using a hairdryer or flat-iron, I don't know of any way to get and keep your hair straight. Be careful if you do use a flat-iron as they can FRY your hair.

There is a wonderful product called CitraShine. It's in a small spray bottle and put a little spray on your hair and it puts a great shine on your hair and when you bruch it, your hair is very sleek, straight and smooth.
