Well, let's see.My biological maternal side is Mormon, my biological paternal side is Catholic, one sister is Mormon, the other is Catholic, and remaining 3 sisters are Pagan, I'm Wiccan, my 2 brothers are atheist, and my adopted mommy is Seventh Day Adventist.Yeah, we've got a pretty eclectic mix there. But as far as I know, we all have gotten our religious beliefs sorted out,so there aren't any misconceptions.

I had some friends who thought that Catholics believed in the gospel of Thomas, which is one of the pseudopigrapha. They apparently believed this because catholics include in their bible the apocryphal books, which were in the septuagint compiled in 300 B.C, but were left out of some versions of the bible.
P.S: Cris C, I know what you mean. Fortunately, it's not my family, though.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of my more distant family members thought I was still Christian.
Until a couple of years ago, my sis-in-law thought I was agnostic.
Several people who see my pentacle seem to think that it has six points instead of five and ask if it's a Star of David.
There is a widespread misconception by the world in general that my beliefs include devil worship.

I think some of my family and friends think that we sacrifice little children. LOL. Some of my family still believed that I was a Christian but I haven't been for many years.

All the time.
For instance, every year my family think that all I want for my birthday is either blue socks, a bottle of cheap fizzy plonk or a mug with a picture of Elvis on it!

I am Catholic and my family (immediate household excluded) is Protestant.
They think they know what Catholicism is but in reality they haven't the slightest clue, nor are they willing to hear the truth as to what it is. Very sad situation.

Of course! My father thinks I'm a satan worshiper. My older brother thinks I'm atheist, and a few of my friends think I'm pagan.
It is difficult to explain myself sometimes, hence the variety.

No one knows what is in my head.
I may speak something, but you hear something else.
I mean one thing, you think that I meant something else.
So the answer to your question is yes and no.
There are those that know me, that I am very serious about one subject.
I'll bet you know what that is.

My parents believe their big house, need to remodel every room over and over and talking badly about people behind their back makes them good people. I think they need to go to church, but they think they're too good for that I think
