Did you all hear about a house guest who put kittens in a hot pan of oil with porkchops? What's up with that? I would never invite that

At first I thought this was some sick person making it up. Then I saw the AP story which is not to be redistributed et al. But then is that real? Who knows!

It is just so unspeakable that this kind of thing could happen, though I have no doubt this and other disturbing acts do, especially to cats. But to poor helpless kittens? Yes dogs can at least try to help themselves if they're a bit larger.

Look I feel sorry for the poor, sick SOB's who commit these unthinkable crimes. They should be *locked up* with lots of medication, right after somebody frys THEIR arsh!!!!

I feel much MORE sorry for the defenseless animals - baby kittens???

Why don't we start really PUNISHING these unconscienable people? No more "tap on the hand". Most of us are aware how dangerous those seriously disturbed people are.

We should be clamoring for stronger punishment for animal cruelty.

Kittens thrown in frying pan in N.Y.

Posted 8/15/2006 2:41 AM ET

BUFFALO (AP) — Five kittens thrown into a frying pan with pork chops and hot oil were recovering at an animal shelter Monday, and the man accused of scalding them was awaiting a court appearance.
The kittens, about six or seven weeks old, were injured Saturday when a visitor threw them into the cooking pan, authorities said.

The kittens suffered slightly burned skin and are expected to recover.

The resident of the apartment had left the kitchen, where he was cooking at the stove, when the kittens were scorched.

"The (visitor) started taking his clothes off, took two kittens, put them in the frying pan with the hot oil and pork chops and began swishing them around," said Charles Loubert Sr., an animal control officer. "Then he threw one kitten on the floor and he took the other one and wiped it off on the wall. Then he put three more kittens into the frying pan."

Police said they anticipated the suspect, whose identity was not released, would be charged Tuesday with animal cruelty.

Thank God there are now stricter laws and am sure this person will spend time in jail-I personally would like to have him spend some time in a frying pan. People who do these kind of things are sadist and kids who do these sick, disturbing things are on the way of being a sadist or even worse. ALL serial killers began as kids torturing and killing animals-for can easily overpower-the cowards. Many were also abused but there are always choices.
Problem is they have no empathy.

DAMN SAM!!

It would appear the latest heatwave is driving people insane.
Sheesh, I've heard the heat is worse in big cities but that is mind boggling.

Hope the sucker gets put away for a long time. Send him to the mental institution where they can keep him for life if he doesn't show signs of improvement.

On the far side;

Is it possible the guy had a flashback from prehistoric days when the sabertoothed tiger made humans its favorite meal. Do you suppose he had a vision from the ancient ancestors flashing across the cosmos that made him think they were tiger cubs that would grow up to eat his children.?

NAAAAAAAAAHHHHH, That's a bunch of horsesh*t, lock the sadistic fool up please............ somebody.............anybody......

There are a lot of sick mean people out there. Have you ever watched the animal channel. I have seen some very skinny dogs starved dogs and then you see the fat owner and they make all kinds of excuses. I think the penality should be tougher. Sometimes I have to turn it off - I would get involved if I saw any of this bad treatment around my home - anyone who hurts chilldren or animals would get all my physcial attention.

I realize that this man was sick but what about the man who owned the kittens? He should have never left the man alone because surely his sick demented behavior didn't just quick-as-a-wink happen! Or it could have been drugs. I hate what drugs are doing to our country. I wish the folks that brought them in to America for their use to control Blacks could see what they did to all of America! Talk about getting a society paid for past injuries! The whole country would have to get paid!

Cats and kittens are often subjected to these extreme cases of animal cruelty. Their size makes them such easy targets.

Dogs get abused terribly too and are a little more able to defend themselves as a snarling dog is quite intimidating.

I heard this on Howard Stern this morning. This sounds sick, I hope this guy gets jail time. We recently had a couple of kids light a snapping turtle on fire and video taped it in our area, they got off too easy, really there was no punishment. Its good the cat survived without too much harm.
