I don't think that's going to happen unless you get rid of the fat over your stomach. Your just going to be building bulk. Walking 30-60 min a day. Try a Sauna room. Sweat your butt off. Lift weights eat right no cheese or bread. You should be good than. Always drink allot of water preferably 8-10 glasses per day. If you stop taking in less fat you should be good to go. Change your diet to Veggies and fruit. Don't eat fruit after 6. If your gaining water weight put lemon in water squeeze it in there drink.
Sit ups dont work. They put strain on your back. I would get a ball and do situps on that. I would also try laying down lift my hands over my head and stretch down to my legs with hands in front and roll back down slowly. 50 is to start 100 is max. If you do this everyday you should see results. Try not eating after 5 you will be better.

Sit-ups aren't too effective, because they don't work the abs all that efficiently... they mostly work the hip adductors instead. You should try crunches instead, both straight and to each side, plus reverse crunches... please do a search online, for detailed instructions and diagrams illustrating how to perform them correctly.

As for this post...

" YOU NEED TO REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
IT is very important to rest a whole day so that the muscles can grow and heal! Try doing 100 sit ups EVERY OTHER DAY and do them in set and rest in between each set for about 30-60 seconds. if you do NOT rest then you will grow stronger BUT your muscles WILL NOT grown in SIZE. it's a problem that many poeple have when starting to weight training"

... Yes, that is correct when talking about other muscle groups, but the abdominals are the one muscle group may be worked every day, due to the type of muscle they are. So go ahead and do your crunches daily, but please learn correct form, so you don't do something counter-productive and injure yourself in the process!

Good luck...

Don't do situps, do crunches. And flex your abs as hard as you can when you're going up, and do them slowly. Don't raise your back too far off of the floor, about 8 inches. And lose the fat with cardio so those muscles will actually show up.

If you're doing more than a hundred crunches and you don't feel exhuasted then you're not doing them right.

Good luck.

if you have fat on that area, they're covering your abs. Get rid of excess fats by lots of aerobic exercises.
then apart from increasing the number of sit-ups you make, also try different ab exercises like crunches (situps are a stress to your lower backbones, crunches are better) and leglifts.

i'm not even a teen yet and i got abs. i'm still little. if you want abs get weights every night. do fifty strokes per arm. one hundred situps and twenty push ups. plus run around your room five or ten times. doing those things you can be a skinny fast runner kid like me and be strong or be the plump kid and not be able to lift up a penny.

You might not do them right, you have to breath properly and lift your shoulders of the floor and the head towards the knees.
And do 50 in the morning and 50 at night. Best bet watch a video to do them properly.

You have to run or do something very high Cardio. Situps tone really well but to get the abs to pop, you need to get rid of any fat in front of them (even a little bit).
