There is the standard way, which is simply creating a batch file that runs the commands to install the programs using hte so-called "silent installer"

It depends on the installer used by the program, each installer has its own swiches to activate the silent mode installer.

For example:
Windows Live Messenger: WLM.exe /Q
This will run the program in silent mode - no screens will showup, and will add shortcuts

Each program has it's own switches - in the example above, the switch was the "/Q"

Switch Help:
----------------
To find the switches of the program, type the file name in MS-Dos followed by "/?", "-?", "/h", "-h", "/help", or "-help"

Some programs don't display their internal switches when using any of the above switches, as they consider it something internal for the creators use only!!

Normal Silent Mode switches include (some are case sensitive):
/S
/s
/Silent
/silent
/Q
/q
/Quiet
/quiet

As far as I can remember, the /S is used in Firefox, although no Switch option may appear when using the switch help!!

Hope this answers your question...
