anyone know why coffee gives me bad headaches after 2 cups, but I can have a ton of caffine in hot teas, iced tea, or soda and I don't get headaches.

usually the headaches come from AFTER you drink the coffee and are going through withdrawals. i notice that when i drink a cup of coffee, if i dont drink more caffeine a few hours later i get a horrible headache. alot of patients i work with have the same issue. i think that some people are just more sensitive to coffee caffeine or tea caffeine...either way. i think coffee has one of the highest caffeine contents of any drinks, so if you are drinking 2 cups and then going without caffeine afterwards, you may be going through some withdrawals that are giving you the headache.

Maybe it's the oil from the coffee bean...depending on the bean some are really loaded in caffeine too. Tea has less and you need to drink 4 sodas to come close to one cup of coffee.
Drink decaf. That is why I switched and also because it was giving me heart palpatations. Took me a long time to figure that out.

Two cups of coffee has much much more caffine than two sodas or to cups of tea. I still think it's the caffine.

Actually Black tea has a lot more caffeine than Coffee.

It could be caffeine withdrawal if you skip a day, or it could be that you're getting too much caffeine overall and it's just showing up most with the coffee.

Coffee cause cancer. Your headaches are coming from your small bowel.
