RELIGIOUS FAITH - It's all about a security blanket that offers humans peace and solice when bad things happen; a cructch if you will. Grasping to something that we are led to beileve is so much bigger and more powerful than we are, but also helping humans along in a selfish way? Many people use faith (belief in Jesus) to cover up all their shortcomings and to present a mirage of something that is far greater in their life than just living on earth, as if that is just not enough. I believe in the here and now, good and bad, right and wrong. It is cool if you beliefs and definition of faith differ from mine because I am humble and know that I am no better than anyone else on this earth. WHY DO YOU BELIEVE IN FAITH?

I have to agree with you, I don't believe in faith. Faith is a man made word to keep humans under the control of their religion. You lie to them and they believe you therefore you can control them better.
We all have the same bodily functions, which also means we are no better than anyone else on this earth.
Except Bill Gates, he's got more money than all the people on YA right now, darn it!!!

I believe in faith, becuase one of my best friends could have died just the other day from a HORRIBLE motorcycle accident, and me and his family and other friends had faith that he would get better and he is already walking. He does need something to lean on, but the doctor said he wouldn't be able to move for at least 2 weeks and it has been about 5 days.. That is why I believe in faith.

I don't believe in faith, I believe in Jesus. Why are you in the Religion forum if you are so unhappy with people of Faith. Why not just let us go on our merry ways into oblivion?

Want me to prove that you also believe in faith ? You believe that the sun will rise tomorrow, and all will be right in your little world. Who guarantees that ? I think you take alot on FAITH.

I believe in God and to believe you most have faith as I ,nor you, have seen God.I`ve had things happen in life ,as all of us have.Faith helps you make it through. My prayers are always answered sometimes not as I might have asked, but answered and things were made right again.God never fails you.Faith grows as we grow.

I must be cool then, because my beliefs are different than yours!
I believe in God, that is faith.
I can't see him, but I've felt his presence many, many times while in prayer or during worship.
I didn't always believe, but was agnostic, not sure.
Through a series of events, God has let me know that he is real, and that he loves me.
