First loves...that’s exactly what they are...those are the ones that introduced you to everything, made you love them, loved you back, and also broke your heart. But no matter how hurt you are, you’ll always love them. Always...they’ll stay with you forever. And not only will you not notice it, but deep down you will compare every other guy/girl to him. And none of them will live up...because they were your first love. Then after months of letting go...when you finally think you are okay with letting him/her go, you'll hear "your" song...or see a movie...or something that reminds you of how much they meant to you and how much you really loved him/her and realize you’re not completely over him/her and never will be.
It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone -- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Trying to forget someone you loved is like trying to remember someone you never knew
you never really stop loving someone. you just learn to try to live without them, as bad and as sad as it seems.
Life goes on and so should you, as bad and as hard as it seems.

You can move on but you'll never forget your first love. First thing you need to do is to tell yourself you are ready to move on then act on it. Go out and meet new people and you'll soon be on your way to discovering your next love who may end up as your true love...

I never really did. But, I moved on and found happiness...But never anything as strong and pure as first love.
I still get a twang when I think of my first love..Its a part of me even though I haven't seen him in many years.....Its something you don't forget.....
