It seems like the only ones I ever meet who are interested in me are either married or not worth the time (losers),

There are loads. If you only ever meet those two types, you must be going to the wrong places.
It sounds like you need to expand your social circle to include going to places where you will meet the kind of man you would get on well with.
You have to take an honest look inside your heart as well and think about the vibes you give off. Have you ever considered that perhaps you only show interest in the wrong types? Maybe the others seem too geeky, too boring, too weak etc.?
Just take your time looking and have a serious think about the type of personality you are looking for.
Think about what kind of person you would really get along with -without putting in any effort to get along with them.What kind of person would you make happy while they are also making you happy.
And what exactly is a loser? Us men could easily look around and say the same about the women in that age group. A man could be a multi millionaire with a fantastic car and a hideous personality; estranged from his whole family that left him years before and isolated from everybody. Is he a loser or would it be the bloke that never grew up? Maybe they both are? Either way take the time to get to know any of the men you meet. Try to meet them in places other than bars or clubs.
Take up an evening class in something you are interested in, maybe you'll meet somebody there. In the mean time relax, you'll meet far more of the right type by not looking! Twisted isn't it? Learn to be comfortable with yourself, being by yourself.
The biggest turn off to either gender is a "needy" person.
