Here is what we are planning:
1. For 50 invitations you would spend between $75-$130 including postage if you got them done professionally, and between $45-$60 to make them yourselves.
2. For food I plan on $15 a person with alcohol being about $7 a person and cake being $2 a person. This equals $2400 for 100 people. But I am a foodie.
3. I can get my hotel for $75 a night. If you live in a place with a higher cost of living, I would pay up to $150/night.
4. Wedding dresses are tricky. My budget is $500 to include hair, makeup, veil, shoes, and dress.
5. Others: Music- donated for me, Photography- again, I got it donated. Flowers- $500. Tips- $200. Centerpieces- $80.
Good Luck!

Wedding invitations - Buy at Walmart or somewhere like that - $50
Food - 100 people - at least $900 - $1000 thats if you want it to be a big dinner, if not, you can always go cheaper.
Hotel - anywhere from $100 - $300
Wedding Dress - Ebay - $100 - $1000
Anything Else - A lot more money than you would imagine. My wedding is in two weeks and I put myself on a $5000 budget and i've already spent over $10,000.. and i've got the cheapest of the cheap stuff. Good luck though!!

1. Invitations - $800. I had to get the fancy pants invites. They set the tone of the wedding. I got the invites for 30% off the list price. And it was 150 of them. This included the invitation, reception card, reply card, reply envelope, outside envelope, thank you card and thank you card envelope. This also includes all the stamps i've bought.
2.) Food - $13,000. This for approxiamately 100 people including a 10 course meal and alcohol. $130 a person may seem like a lot, but for the quantity and quality i think it's a deal!
3.) Hotel - $250
4.) Dress $300. It was originally $1100 but I got it off the clearance rack.
In total, this wedding is going to cost about $40,000. That's including photographer, videographer, limo, flowers, honeymoon, gifts, cake, and etc.

My wedding was around 7,000 but that included everything including the hall, food, ceremony, photographer, dj, flowers, cake, decorations and favors along with invites and save the date cards. And I had almost 200 people at mine... Once you decide how much you can spend on your photographer and reception then the rest you can budget out by shopping around... I HIGHLY reccomend ebay for all favors and decorations and even invitations... You can get items for as littleas 1/4 what you would pay coming out of a store or catalogue!!!
