Well, thank god you're not one of those snooty higbrows that pretends to like the beetles even though they're nothing but drug trip music. Oh, sure, they got lucky with a few, like "Happiness is a warm gun," and such, but come on, an Octopuse's Garden in the Sea? A yellow Submarine? I mean really, they can't even swim!

Sadly, you're mistaken about Elvis. Elvis also did not come out with any good english music. While we was indeed the illigetimate son of Queen Victoria XVIIII (Of Marlborough) he was secretly switched at birth with the child of an anonymous redneck. Most of his good music came while touring the US, Germany, and Hawaii. So, the English simply NEVER came out with any good music.

Well... There was that band "The Afghan Whigs," and that other band, "Pop Will Eat Itself" They were both really good, can I get a Hell Yeah? And the Clash is all right... Well, the few songs they made that weren't inspired by the Beatles. What? Oh, those bands were all from Missisippi.

Who says the English "came out" with Elvis? He was a good old Southern born and bred in the USA boy.

And you think you know music. You'd be no good in a pub quiz would you.
Elvis was american.
We have the beetles, Oasis, blur were OK, there is a few, but mind you if you though Elvis was English you'd probably think they were French or some thin.
