Drink it before you get on the plane and tell your mom you bought it for her but they wouldn't let you on the plane with it..... I'm sure she'll understand

You should be able to carry it in your checked luggage, but it might be easier to ship it home VIA FedEx or UPS. At least then you can get insurance on it if the bottle breaks or disappears in transit. And who knows... it may get to your Mom before you do!

It's OK in your checked bags. Alcoholic beverages are OK if they are less than 70% (140 proof) alcohol. Wines are way below that.

Pack it carefully so it doesn't break, though. Those baggage handlers are rough!

OH! don't bring it on the flight as a carry on. they will take it away from you immediately. instead, check it in your luggage.

nice of you to get that as a gift and have a safe flight!

You can take it in your checked baggage but not carry-on. Make sure you wrap it carefully as the checked bags are tossed around.

Yes, but in the checked baggage. Wrap it extra careful because checked baggage gets tossed around.

You can keep it in your suitcase just not in your cary on. The only way to get around that would be to come early with plenty of alcohol and "share" with the security guards.

Not in your carry-on bag. Even with your checked luggage, I'd check with your airline first.

You can put it in your suitcase, you can't carry it onto the plane.
