any body have epilepsy? what meds. do you take. what kind of seizures do you have.does anxiety trigger them.?

I have complex partial seizures, I had them for 14 years. I had lite feelings of them about 20 years ago. Light aura feelings 20 years ago. Now today I have complex partial seizures. what do you have? what meds. you take?

I have epilepsy. I have had temporal lobe seizures since I was 3 months old, I am 47 yrs.old now.

In the past I have taken Phenobarbitol and Dilantin. Now I take Tegretol (2 tabletlet 4x a day). I have been blessed, I haven't had a seizure in about 10 yrs. although I do have auras on a regular basis.

Things that bring about auras
intense anxiety
if I am getting sick, coming down w/ flu or cold
right before my period
if I don't get enough sleep

I have generalized primary seizure (with or without clonic activity) I choose not to take medications. My first seizure was in 1997 after being very sick and not sleeping for almost 2 weeks, I then took 2 decongestant pills which brought it on. My second was after the birth of my daughter, I had a c-section and was breastfeeding every 2 hours so I hadnt really slept for almost a month. Both times I noticed I would go in and out of thought and my eyes were extremely dilated. I see an excellent doctor and have been seizure free for 3 years. I just have to take care of myself.

ok i have seizures too forgot the name though, i take topamax i have took this for a while and it is very good for u, it helps w/that and it controls weight and blood sugar count, and lots of other important issues, it might not be safe though depending on what kind that u have, check w/ur doctor first

I have generalized aka grand mal seizures.I take Tegrotol and phenobarbital. I only have seizures when I forget to take my medication.
