You probably heard that from some adherent to the Mormon religion since they believe that to be true. The Bible says that the devil is a created being and that Jesus is the Word who was with God and is God. John 1:1, 1;14 and that ...He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you"? Or again, "I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son"? And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." Of the angels he says, "He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire." But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions." Hebrews 1:3-9

No Rip, they are not brothers. That comes from self-interpretations of Scripture that fail to understand the Divinity of Jesus and his Oneness with the Father. The reasoning is that if Jesus is merely 'the son of God, and in Himself not God,' then Jesus too is just a creation like the devil and therefore the two share a commonality by having the same Creator.
The Gospel of St. John tells us that Jesus is the Word of God through whom all things were Created, and that the Word and God are One. This explains plainly that Jesus was not Created, but One in Being with the Father.
The devil is a fallen angel, a created being and not Jesus' brother.

I don't think so....
I have never even really found the whole "Devil" story in the Bible.
It mentions it but doesn't go into great detail about it's origin, which for me really makes me question the fact the "Devil" is actually even a being.....
What if actually the "Devil" is a force, a feeling, an emotion, a negative energy......
While we are all Brothers & Sisters in one way or another, do stand firm in the "belief" that Jesus was the only one sent by God and labeled "Son".... the Bible mentions nothing of that concerning the "Devil", nor have I ever heard of it....
Until now.

Absolutely not. Jesus is God and is Part of the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son who is Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit. He had no beginning or no end. God has always existed and there is no evil in God.
Angels are one of God creations just like we are one of God's creations. They had a beginning.
The devils were former angels who wanted to be like God. They could not be equal. They rebelled and were cast out of heaven.
I have heard from one religious group in the U.S. that believes that way...that Jesus was a good guy and Satan was the bad brother and expelled.
Maybe more groups think that way but I am not aware of any.
It is all right to question things like this to find the truth. God wants us to know the truth.
Satan or the devil would "love" us to believe this as to pull down
the credibility of God in any way. The devil is out to deceive, kill and destroy.
God is for us.

All the true sons of God are angels. Jesus before coming to earth to be born as a perfect human was an angel in heaven, in fact the first angel created, Michael the Arch Angel. He is the only begotten son of God, God created Michael entirely by himself. The rest of the angels were brought into existence through Michael including the angel that became Satan and the other angels that became demons. God transferred the life of His son Michael into the womb of Mary to be born a perfect human and his name would be Jesus. When Jesus was baptized by John the Baptizer, Jesus' cousin, the holy spirit settled upon Jesus and anointed Jesus as Christ. Satan was put out of heaven by Michael. Read Job 1:6

You heard wrong, the devil was an angel who fell from grace, but Jesus is the Son of God and has never sinned.

No. Jesus was the only Son of God. Satan was an angel who fell from Grace basically.

Assuming that you go by my logic (I tend to follow the Catholic church's teachings), this would definitely not be possible. The RCC teaches that Jesus is God -- God has no siblings: the angels are separate beings. Satan/Lucifer was once an angel, but God condemned him to hell, where he is to this day the Devil.

Angels are created by God, they are called fallen because they defied God who is their creator. A created being cannot be God. Fallen angels, one of them Lucifer (devil) was cast into hell for such act of defiance.
