Im going to write a book one day about my adventures in Asia, but I wonder what other people get upto?
Any secret little sins, somewhere interesting you have been, something you have done, that you perhaps wouldn't have done under other circumstances?

Im thinking it would be rude not to share some of my experiences... actually most of the things I have done in Korea I would do generally.

I was living in a cockroach infested house with a halmoni who ended up robbing me.
So when I ended up having no money, I got out of there, stuck my things in a locker and slept on the beach for a week. I must say, this was the best time I have had in Korea!!
The fried chicken ajussi would come and sit with me at night and bring me beer and chicken haha.
Lots of interesting things happened that week....

Recently I spent the weekend in the country, and there were no buses and im not the type of girl to fork out cash for a taxi (if you see a foreign girl arguing with taxi drivers about the fare... it's probably me). So we hitch hiked up and down the mountain, spent the night drinking by the river with a bunch of drunk hippy Koreans. Good fun!
Hm im running out of characters.. wait for the book! Might need to make a section for these stories!

oh wow your asking a mouthful

I once got lost in seoul because i fell asleep on the subway, i ended right next to the samsung building but i was supposed to get off at the olympic park. through whatever korean i had learned back then and the kindness of complete strangers, i was able to get to olympic park by hitchhiking twice and once by one of those scooter deliverymen with the big aluminum boxes of ja-jjang-myung.

i had to eat the eyeballs of a squid for a dare that an 11 year old gave me. i watched a chicken get slaughtered in the coutryside of Mok'po by a shamanist. I danced in a samul-nori performance while touring the young-in palace. at lotte world i was screaming all these profanities in english infront of little kids because i was scared when we got at the top of the gyro drop.

squatter toilets, bathing in the Naksan river, cold shower on the rooftop of a building in yang-pyeon, sliding in the huge mud flats of makbo, getting attacked by an ostrich on cheju island (that's a LONG story)

these are just a few of the crazy things I've done in only half the time i've been here.

thanks, this question was fun to answer, it brought back a smile to my face

A friend and I were at Emart and he was buying a pet rabbit. When we left he forgot something and had to go back for a minute so I waited for him outside. While I was waiting for him a woman went to the soda machine put in some money and when she bent down to get her soda she screamed. Iwent over to see what the problem was and she pulled a baby rabbit out of the bottom of the soda machine. When I looked in I realized there was another rabbit in the machine. The woman took the one rabbit and left and I called my friend on his cell phone and asked him to bring out a member of the staff with him because all our groceries were outside and I couldn't take them in and carry the rabbit. When the man came out I explained to him with my limited Korea at the time what had happened and that a woman had taken the other rabbit when she left. They were quite upset and then a young teenage girl came and was looking in the soda machine and started talking about the rabbits being hers when the staff member went inside. Then a couple of staff member from the store came out and suddenly the rabbits weren't hers and she is telling me that I should keep them. My friend (who speaks no Korean) is talking to the staff and they are telling us they are our rabbits. I end up explaining what is going on and that the girl who said they were hers has now changed her story. Turned out the girl had been shoplifting and been caught. She had ditched the rabbits in the soda machine and gone back for more and now her Mom was here with her and she didn't want to get into anymore trouble. The staff member said that they had been trying to catch her with the rabbits but she had gotten away and this was not the first time. It was so funny because she thought that if she got us to take the rabbit then she wouldn't be in trouble, so she kept telling everyone that they were ours even though they weren't. I still can't believe she hid them in a soda machine.

My dad's friends insisted on paying for my ma+my dinner so we ate dinner three times that day. Then we got drunk on soju, after eating gopchang gui, budeh jjigae, and janguh gui, and proceeded to get on the subway.

After insisting we weren't drunk, we completely got on the line for the opposite direction, got lost, and made fools of ourselves. All while smelling like soju, gopchang, jjigae, and janguh.

People kept looking at us weirdly. Wonder why... haha
