Jack Daniel's makes a higher end version called Gentleman Jack which is I actually prefer to regular Jack D. Normally runs about $25 a fifth.
In that $20-30 price range I also like Maker's Mark and Knob's Creek. My favorite bourbon right now is Blanton's but I rarely blow $50 a bottle on liquor - only drink that when someone else is buying LOL.
Cheers to you!

I'm surprised you like bourbon. It's much smokier and harsher than Scotch. It seems a shame to drink it after having Glenmorangie, or Balvenie Doublewood...or even RedBreast Whisky from Ireland. Jack is ok, Jim is ok, Wild Turkey is ok, the rest is rot gut...I can't tolerate most of it without mixing it with something else. Johnnie Walker maybe? The red or black label?

Jack and Jim are actually lower-tier brands (I find Jack to be a triumph of marketing over substance, but that's another issue). I'd suggest experimenting with some of the premium brands in the Jim Beam family. Pricey (5 to 10 times the price of a cheaper Jim Beam), but it's reasonable to pay a master distiller for his best.

My favorite is a scotch! Glen Livet. But my second favorite is Jack Daniels.
Try some Wild Turkey. It's a hard bourbon if you like the taste.

Maker's Mark is among my top choices.
George Dickel is another good Tennessee Whiskey (it and JD are not technically Bourbon due to the charcoal filtering)
Knob Creek
Ezra Brooks
...I'm sure I'll think of more

Maker's Mark or Wild Turkey. Nice to know you don't turn your nose up at a good straight bourbon.

Southern Comfort. I´m not sure if it´s considered bourbon but it´s definitely a type of whiskey.

I know of something that would tickle your taste buds. Try some homemade moonshine. It kicks harder than jim or jack. In other words, it will put you on your a*s.
