SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY, as I am 100% honest about this. I hear music almost 24/7. I know I"ve heard the tunes before, but can't remember the name of the songs. Sometimes it sounds like an old radio show and sometimes it's like a 1950's song or a t.v. and rarely it is a modern one...again, I can only hear the music, but not the words. Help...I don't think I'm crazy..thanks very much.

Sorry, I probably wasn't clear so here is an add-on note:
The music I'm hearing is "phantom" meaning from no cause. It's not from a radio, tv or any other source. It sounds like an old radio show or old tv is on mostly.
I'm very sane. It's not from hallucinations or over exposure to the media.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced it due to tinnitus or a mild to moderate hearing loss, etc..?

Yeah, sometimes I hear it too, it has that indinstictive feeling, like you know it but not quite, right? It has to do with overeposure to media - radio, TV, etc. Best relief? go on a vacation in the mountains somewhere, with no radio, electricity or such, for a week or two. It will get a little worse at first, but then it will fade away, and eventually stop. Trust me, I've done it. It will get you unhooked from the media as well. Good luck, let me know how it went.
PS: If it does not fade away like I just said, it might be hallucinations. Go to a doctor.
Answer to additional details: I did not say it is something you heard on the radio or tv, but that your brain mixes the signals it receives and this is the output. Trust me, the answer I gave you with the vacation is the healthy approach to the problem. Any psychiatrist will diagnose hallucinations or illusions (there are actually more categories and hearing indistinctive sounds with no source that might appear as music definetely fits into that).

Maybe the metal fillings in your mouth are picking up radio transmission. Didn't that happen in an episode of I Love Lucy?
I'm sure there's an explanation for it. If you can't resolve it on your own, talk to your doctor.
