I was at a party and they served a drink they called an Apple Martini, but it had rum in it. I believe she said it had apple rum, apple pucker and cran-apple juice in it. Is this a twist on the original drink or does this drink actually have a different name to it?

actually the original martini had gin in it. the ones with vodka are vartiations, so i am assuming that this is a variation of the variation. this drink though we used to call a washington apple where i worked, but a washington apple down the street had whisky in it. everything has many different names and many different recipes.

well a martini has vodka or gin not rum so my guess is its a twist but not techinically any sort of martini
