every time I get a bag of carrots they go moldy and soft within a few days...any suggestions. I keep them in a bowl in a cupboard with the potatoes and oinions.

tried this and you vege will still be fresh after 1 week.....do you know Quaker oat ( packet type )? After finish dont throw away the packet, put the vege inside and leave it in refigerator dont seal it.....after 1 week your vege still fresh like the the first day you buy.....is magic....dont believe ? try it to know.

My mom tends to take them out of the bag to let air get to it and reduce the moisture getting to it too, but really helps is putting it in a Tupperware container long enough for the carrots...stays fresh for a week or so.

First off try to put them in a paper bag and then put it in the fridge. That is what a fridge is for.

They need to be refrigerated...they should keep ALOT longer in the crisper with your other veggies than in the cupbord.

veggie drawer "crisper drawer" in fridge. they will last weeks.
