What is the name of that Loan Company?
It sounds like they are charging you a lot
of interest and want to keep on charging you.
Call Equifax and get a credit report on yourself.
Or search for it on the Internet. Best if you call
and tell them why you are calling. Get your bank
to help you straighten this out. Call your local
Newspaper and explain your problem, they might be
able to help you. If you can afford to, call a lawyer for
advise - he might give it free.
Never let that Loan Co. have the original cancelled cheque.

I'm not sure you are in California, but if you are, you should call the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Link to web:

If you are not in California, call your state's Department of Consumer Affairs. They are the ones who regulate all the financial and loan companies. THey will be able to help.
