i dont think i will actually do this, but when u want to shave ur vaginal hair do u shave upwards towards ur bellybutton or downwards towards ur feet. plz dont b one of those stupid idiots who makes smart unrelated remarks to my question.

They say that it's best to shave downward to prevent ingrown hairs and bumps, but you get a closer shave if you go up. I use bikini bare after I shave, I doon't get the bumps, nor have I gotten an ingrown hair...YET! Good luck!!LOL

well i shave the opposite direction that the hair grows even though people say shave the same direction. So the hair more ontop tends to grow downwards and the hair lower down there grows inwards toward the vulva. If i miss any i'll just pluck them. try bikini zone to prevent razor bumps down there. those are the worst

I don't shave my vaginal hair. But if you're going to do that, shave down towards your feet. You realize don't you that when you shave once, you have to keep it up? And when the hairs begin to grow back in after each shave, it's going to itch beyond crazy.

I have heard both but I think sideways would do the trick. I use shaving oil so no matter what direction I shave, I won't get redness or bumps. The product I use is soypete's shaving oil and I love it so much I tell all my friends about it....well and strangers too! lol

learn from my mistakes. first, use hair conditioner instead of shaving cream, since this area is so sensitive and needs more moisture, then go WITH the grain of the hair, so shave downward. and whoever has a problem with these kinds of questions you must be really immature or a real big prude!

I have done this and all I can say is ITCH! I hated it! So I would never shave again! Waxing is much more painful but gives smoother results. Razors can give you that ugly "chicken skin" bump stuff that looks like crap! I love the clean look but really hate the mess! Good luck!

It depends which way your hair grows. Honestly, I did it once and I had the WORST ingrown hairs ever and it hurt like heck. Now I wax. I will never go back to shaving EVER!! The first time hurts and its smooth sailing after that!

you shave the direction that the hair grows or you'll get ingrown hairs also prep area with a hot wash cloth to soften hairs let the wash cloth set there for a while then when your done use cool washcloth to close the pores back up.

first u want to go downwards towards ur feet this will prevent ingrown hairs and than you would want to go upwards towards ur belly
