As an agnostic, I really like smita k's response, just above me. The idea of God is relative.
The bible however....yeah, that's another story.

Yet another Christian MORON!
Everything you mentioned in your...um..question (?)...can be physically proved. Gamma rays can be detected, the same thing wiht X rays (proof of which are X-ray prints).
Atoms can be seen through an electron microscope (I for one Have seen them ALIVE!)
Subatomic particles (neutrons, protons, et al) leave telltale tracks on metal plates exposed in particle accelerators.
Galaxies on the other side of black holes??? MAN you have NO FRIGGING IDEA what a Black hole is, Am I Right? A black hole is formed by a dying star, and GALAXIES are MADE of BILLIONS (can you count?) of STARS!!! Holly s h i t !!!
Now, my lawful retort.....
Have you ever seen God? And don't answer lame things like "I've seen him in the color of flowers, in the smile of a baby"
Is God omniscient? Where the heck was he in 1939-1945?
Is He omnipotent? If so, can he create a boulder so heavy that not even He can carry?
If he can't create it, he's NOT omnipotent.
If he can't carry it, he's NOT omnipotent.
Is God a man, or a woman? Why do we call him HE?
Did you know that in Genesis, God speaks as if He were many?
(which supports the ancient polytheistic Judean religions)
You are just another blind moron who refuses to see beyond!
God bless you (that is, of course, if these's such a thing)

Unfortunately for you your statement is false to begin with. you forget that these ideas they have are all supported by repeatable objective tests, that the effects are concrete (you are using a computer, right?) And that the Invisible Pink Unicorn argument reflects worse on the theists than on the Atheists, or they never would have invented it. Also the reason that the theories change are that they are always testing them and correcting their mistaken ideas, while the religious try to prevent change and are generally retreating into the old testament because the later parts of the bible are less defensible from reason.

I've used an oscilloscope and sure enough, it measures invisible stuff just like people claim it will. Amazingly, it does not require any belief to observe all that activity invisible to the naked eye or ordinary senses. And, it is predictable based on the formulas people created to predict outcomes.
So, when a God believer produces a similar piece of equipment or evidence that can be discerned by anyone, regardless of faith, you'll have something going for you.
But, so long as your evidence relies solely on "Because I said so," you don't have any credible evidence.

I never said i dont believe what i cant see. it is impossible for god to exist.
There is a lot of evidence that quarks protons and neutrons exist. Its the same if u said we cant see air. We still know it exists!
The reason science changes is because a scientific theory changes when an observation is made that contradicts it.This is what makes science strong. They are prepared to accept new evidence. I believe that quarks are real! They are invisible because they are so small.

your question is a logical fallacy known as a straw man argument. it's not a matter of actually seeing something. while we can not see all you cite with our naked eye, we can DETECT and measure their presence. when science speculates, it clearly labels it as speculation and subject to change. it is a self correcting process and makes no false claims to all of the ultimate knowledge in the universe.
free your mind - you want to, but you're scared. I know you want to becasue otherwise you would not be asking questions like these. you're only fooling yourself. I wish you well, sincerely. please examine your own claims about people seeing god - what solid evidence have you? stomping your feet and saying "because!" doesn't count as evidence, either. ;)
btw - I also assert that we have reason to believe there are things we have yet to detect. we are limited to our five senses, and even then, we are limited within those senses to certain ranges. some sounds we can not hear. we can't see most of the light spectrum - gamma, xray, ultraviolet, infrared, radio waves. but we can provide SOLID evidence they are there. what else will we discover and come to scientifically understand? that which is commonly referred to as god? I believe we have good reason to think we will do just that one day.

People need to believe in something that is greater than the sum of our parts. Even if it means that it is science, good deeds, or just the simple activities we do everyday, the idea of God is relative. We just happened to give the idea a three letter name, and may find some greatness in it for ourselves. It is unnecessary to discard the idea just because we 'can't see it'.

You are sadly misinformed. I believe things when there is evidence to back up the claim.
For example, air. Can't see but I can certain feel it's effect on my skin and when I inhale a deep breath of fresh air.
The same applies to everything you mentioned.
Since you say MANY people have seen god, please back up your bull$hit claim, otherwise you're just a liar like the rest of your cult.
Since your pea brained little mind doesn't get this.. humans have 5, count them, 5 senses to help us observe the world around us. I bet you don't even know what they are.... No, your gut feeling about this god thingy isn't a sense.

So, you would have us to believe that you have no reason to not believe in Ra, Zeus, Jupiter, Odin, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseum.
You're simply an atheist that believes in one more god than the rest of us atheists...
For the same reasons that you disblieve the other gods imagined by man, we disbelieve in the one that you happen to assert to be real.
I know you want to understand how we can come to the conclusion that all gods are myth; well we're just being honest with ourselves.

I believe that my eyes are not capable of seeing everything, but this is nothing to do with me not believing in god. I would actually have to feel the presence of a higher being for me to believe in one, and I don't. Can't change that, can I now? Your question is absurd. No intelligent atheist claims that because he cannot see god, he must not exist. "Seeing" refers to more than sight.
