Heaven, Hell, The Bible, God, Satan, Eternal Life, Fiery Death, The Blood of Jesus, Good Works, Feverent Prayer, The Full Body Armor of Jesus, Pearly Gates and So on and So Forth? None of this causes me enough belief to be true or false. Because someone tells me it is written in scripture it must be 100% true? It just doesn't do it for me and I am only being truthful! Sorry if I offend anyone but the blood spilt for me on the cross to cleanse me of all my sins by Jesus Christ as written in the bible has no impact in my daily and persoanl life, WHATSOEVER! Making it to heaven (Humans go to absurbly GREAT LENGTHS) to try, sneak, wish, hope, pray and assure themselves that they get in; Get in to what? A place that may not even exsist? When I die this much I know; My life is done and any organs will be donated to an another human being. Other than that I am done and will not be going to heaven or hell or returning to earth as someone or something else. I am fine and content as I end this

The whole point of belief is just that. BELIEF. Either you believe or you don't. It does not make you right or wrong if you believe, just as it does not make you right or wrong if you don't believe.

It is the mere existance of that belief that resides inside of each individual that makes their Faith what they need.

You are working under the misapprehension that this belief and faith needs to be in a Christian God, or a god of some sort. It does not. It could be faith and belief in the universe, or in your ability to control your own life.

Hell, I am a Pagan, and damn proud of it. My path is right for me, but not for everyone else.

If you really want to straighten out your life, then you need only look inside yourself and figure out what you want to focus on. What is right for you and ONLY you.

Then you won't be so pissed when people try pushing their beliefs in your face. Because then you will be able to stand tall and proud and simply say, "That's nice, but I disagree. Though I prefer not to discuss it anymore than that, because I am strong enough in my own beliefs so that I don't have to try to convert people to them;-)" It's harsh, but polite. And it is guaranteed to end the conversation.

What's more, is it will be true. Because even if the only thing you believe in is yourself, that is still a belief. And thus it is still faith. Faith in YOUR abilities and knowledge.

To believe or not to believe my friend: is a matter of your own choice & freewill… no one can force you into believing… it takes personal ‘Faith’!!

You can ask for 'Proof' of Heaven, Hell, The Bible, God, Satan, Eternal Life, Fiery Death, The Blood of Jesus, Good Works, Feverent Prayer, The Full Body Armour of Jesus, Pearly Gates and So on and So Forth: all you want ... but your asking the wrong person, in asking people to prove it for you... as for every argument we give you: you will only come up with 2 or more counter arguments against… ‘RIGHT’!!

If you are really serious about wanting proof…you should be asking, and seeking God to give it to you… not us!!

But just as a matter of interest... what is it about you: that would make you so different from those 2006 years ago; who had all the proof and evidence they needed... and yet still crucified the Lord Jesus Christ to a cross? What is it that God or I could do, that would make you believe any more than they did?

God bless & keep you my friend… but most of all… give you the answers to the questions you seek… in Jesus name… amen!!!

Throw out ALL religion.

Know this, the Bible is a Spiritual thing and if you are not spiritual it may never make sense.

Read by the eyes, the Bible can make very little sense.
Read by the heart, the Bible unfolds beyond even what the Christians preach & practice.... You can observe that everyday for yourself.

If you need proof, you must look.
No one can provide you with such a proof but if you continue on and keep asking God, you will eventually get your answer.... but it will probably be when you least expect it. Your heart has to be pure, not just you seeking your answer for your own good.

Life is a very personal & initamate experience for each and everyone of us.

Maybe now is not your time, maybe (but depending on you) this is just a new beging. Whatever is best for you, is best for us all because when you have peace then you can reflect peace.

You must at least be open to the idea.
Are you open to the idea or does this kinda stuff just get on your last nerve?

Whatever answer you are looking for, you will find it.
But the answer to this question.... You already have or do you?

Spirit.... Person.... both make up the Being or Individual, while it takes two to make the one a division happens.
How do we bridge that gap to understanding things tha are bigger than us.... probably gonna need some "faith".

If you have none, get some.
Or just let it go......

Try praying. It seems simple doesn't it? If the Bible doesn't work for you and you're really seeking "proof" or God listen to the stories of other people that used to be athiests. Sometimes the proof is in lives changed. I used to be an empty, angry, depressed human being (very athiestic).

Now I'm happy and all my dreams have come true and then some. I volunteer. I serve those that never know who I even am. I find great joy and happiness in a productive life. That's proof to me.

Answered prayers are proof in my opinion too. They're not always answered the way I would like, but they're always answered the way that's good for me.

It doesn't actually sound like you've encountered the Bible much. Pearly gates? That's not in there. Body Armor of Jesus? I'm not sure where that came from. Maybe you should investigate a little to see if what you're hearing is even in the Bible before you condemn it all.

God loves you.

What exactly is your question? If you want to know the Bible is true then do your own research about the people in it. There was a man name Abraham. Moses, King David, Solomon, King Herod, Jesus, Ceasar Augustus and many more. You don't need the Bible to tell you that these individuals were real, check out the archeologist reports, the history books and the Museums in the Vatican areas. Check out the maps in your city library of that time period and see if it matches up to what is written in the Bible - do those places actually exist from the Old Testament to the New Testament? Just that fact can tell you that the Bible is telling you the truth, talk to a professor who has studied the Bible period and ask him where these places existed in Ancient Mesopotamia region. As far as head knowledge of what Jesus preached about - you know what? Even if all the things Jesus said was bizarre teaching, no one who has studied him could tell you that his lifestyle was not moral and right. Jesus was in his right mind when he taught - philosophically speaking, his doctrine sounds good even for those skeptics who wants to put him down. Jesus was not taking drugs, he was not mentally derranged or fighting a disease when he wrote about heaven and hell. Everything that came from his mindset sounded as those of an individual who had his head on straight. His teachings had a common thread about God's love. He lived a moral life, nothing he said was too complicated for the human mind to think about. The next thing you need to do is ask God if he truly exist than somehow can he show himself to you.

you should go read the book, "the Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel, who was a total atheist and skeptic til he checked out the facts to see if it was true or not. He was, at that time, a prize-winning investigative crime reporter for the Chicago Tribune. It (his book) will show you basically that the proof for Christianity being true and the Bible being true are overwhelming.

Proof that the Bible didn't change over time is in the Dead Sea Scrolls, which were discovered in a cave in Israel in 1947. They had been sitting there untouched since the first century, and agree fully with what we have today.

(they were fragments of Old Testament books, (including a complete copy of the book of Isaiah). They show very clearly that the Bible has not been altered during that time (the past 2000 years or so).

as one scholar put it, "the Bible has been passed down to us 99.5% accurately" (any minor differences are a word here or a fragment of a sentence there, which some scribe either did or didn't include, based on whether he thought he should). No major doctrine hangs on any such [possibly disputable] missing word or sentence fragment.

Another excellent resource is:
http://www.answersingenesis.org

go to their site and do a search on the dead sea scrolls, or on the Bible, or apologetics, or archeology, or anything, and you will find credible evidence that the Bible can be trusted completely for accuracy in all that it speaks of, all it touches on.

in particular, I'd suggest you go to their site right now, and on the main page, in the middle, click on "more past articles", and then on the page that comes up, scroll down to "archeology and the Bible", and read that. . it's a good article.

Good luck and God bless you. God will reveal His truth to you if you are truly seeking, as He says, "I will let Myself be found by you when you search with all your heart."

I'm sorry you feel that way. Have you ever sat down and read the Bible after trying to drop all of the presuppositions and everything else that could cloud your judgment? If you do not do this, then you are biased in your approach. I'm not trying to offend you either. You share a common problem among many people i think in the fact that they think "Jesus has no impact on my daily life." That's a true statement. If you don't care at all about seeing what He has to say for Himself in the Bible, then how would He affect your life?

I guess what I am saying is just try and read the Bible and then form your conclusions. If you've already done that, fine. But if not, trust me, its DEFINITELY worth your consideration.

Thomas didn't believe Jesus had risen. He needed proof also. But after he saw Jesus and placed his finger in the nail holes, he believed. Blessed are those who have seen, but blessed are those who believe but have not seen.

You have to make your peace in your heart. I know that Jesus lives, I've seen miracles in my life. I've seen good come from bad. I see the beauty in each day. When I feel like I can't see the light or go on, I have a new day to make things better. God's mercy in new every morning.

Obviously, your not fine if your question begins with, "need proof." The proof is God's word. The proof is the love around you. Just because you can't physically see God doesn't mean he doesn't exist. And just because you physically see something, doesn't mean that it is real. It isn't our place to reason, it is our place to have faith and believe.

I hope you find your way.

I completely agree, and I believe that if you had been in the region were Christ was 2000 years ago, you would have been very convinced that there is a God....The problem we have today is that there are so many people running their mouths and they have no real substance to demonstrate that God is real...

If you are interested in seeing some proof, I wrote a book called the Parable of the Fortune Cookie....It is available on Amazon.com and it is a memoir of the last 17 years of my life where I personally know that I encountered something bigger than myself. One agnostic who read the book said, "if anyone makes me believe that there is a God, it is you."

well, you dont have much time left to finally submit to the Lord Jesus.
Stop resisting the truth. Open your heart.
Ask God for proof and he will show you in His own way. He is a gentleman, not pushy. If you dont repent you will go to hell
All the proof you need is right there in the bible. Stop fighting the words of truth that are flowing from the Lord into your heart of hearts.
Remeber you MUST have faith
