I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them. (Koran 8:12)
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans shall burn for ever in the fire of Hell. They are the vilest of all creatures. (Koran 98:1-8)
A Muslim may not be killed if he kills a non-Muslim (Al Bukhari Vol 9:50)

Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him.
Sahih Al-Bukhari (9:57)
(It will be said) Take him and fetter him and expose him to hell fire. And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. Lo! he used not to believe in God the tremendous, and urged not on the feeding of the wretched. Therefore hath he no lover hear this day nor any food save filth which none but sinners eat. (Koran 69:30-37)
Idolatry is more grievous than bloodshed... fight against them until idolatry is no more and God's religion reigns supreme" (Sura 2:91-93).
O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk." [al-Ma'idah 5:51.11]
(As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah; and these are the inmates of the fire; therein they shall abide. 3.116
Fight against those who believe not in Allah, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth [Islam], until they are subdued.
Surat At-Taubah 9:29
[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
Allah is an enemy to unbelievers. (Koran 2: 98)

[4.76] Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan (Satan). Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak.
[4:101] ...surely the unbelievers are your open enemy.
[4:102] ...surely Allah has prepared a disgraceful chastisement for the unbelievers.
[9.123] O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard

assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatahu
may the peace and blessings of Allah be with u
dear brother, when u read the quran try understanding it with an open mind. and also while quoting something try reading the verses next to it. when u say that this verse is preaching non-violence, then try reading the verses that are next to it also. then you will know what Allah is speaking of. please for ur Lord's sake
there have been many people who have given quotes from quran saying that Allah asks u to kill infidels or non-beleivers. but how many people know what a infidel is in islam.
in·fi·del (nf-dl, -dl)
n.
1. An unbeliever with respect to a particular religion, especially Christianity or Islam.
2. One who has no religious beliefs.
3. One who doubts or rejects a particular doctrine, system, or principle
if this is the infidel u are talking and linking to islam, then u are wrong. an infidel is not a man/woman from the opposite Faith. it simply means a person who is leading astray from the STRAIGHT PATH, which leads to God. in layman terms, it means, a person who commits sin. and every right religion and God will say the same thing.
WHO IS AN INFIDEL/ unbeleiver/ kufr?
who are not kind and compassionate to entire humankind
infidels are people who torture others,
who dont help needy ,
who commit adultary, who lie, steal and kill
a person who worships idols
those who bear false witness against brothers
those who dont serve their parents and community
those who take taxes
those who associate false Gods
those who do not give charity
those who opress the orphans
those who burn widows alive with their dead hubbies(sati)
those who shave widow women bald (christianity)
those who considered woman was a slave and 3rd class citizen
those who say that a woman cannot give witness
those wgo play with a woman's reputation
those who say that woman cannot be educated or give sermons
those who let their women and men commit fornication
those who do not desire what they deisre for them selves
those who are not kind
those who are not patient and enduring
those who are arrogant
example, SURAH AL-MAIDAH
12 Allah made a covenant of old with the Children of Israel and We raised among them twelve chieftains, and Allah said: Lo! I am with you. If ye establish worship and pay the poor-due, and believe in My messengers and support them, and lend unto Allah a kindly loan, surely I shall remit your sins, and surely I shall bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Whoso among you disbelieveth after this will go astray from a plain road.
13 And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly.
14 And with those who say: "Lo! we are Christians," We made a covenant, but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished. Therefor We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork.
15 O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you, expounding unto you much of that which ye used to hide in the Scripture, and forgiving much. now hath come unto you light from Allah and plain Scripture,
16 Whereby Allah guideth him who seeketh His good pleasure unto paths of peace. He bringeth them out of darkness unto light by His decree, and guideth them unto a straight path.
17 They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say: Who then can do aught against Allah, if He had willed to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth? Allah's is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. He createth what He will. And Allah is Able to do all things.
18 The Jews and Christians say: We are sons of Allah and His loved ones. Say: Why then doth He chastise you for your sins? Nay, ye are but mortals of His creating. He forgiveth whom He will, and chastiseth whom He will. Allah's is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and unto Him is the journeying.
19 O People of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things.
may the peace and blessings of Allah be with u

'Slay the idolators...' They were the Arabs who were at war with Mohammed. They worshipped idols, which Mohammed said was wrong.
'Unbelievers' = those who don't believe in the one true God (i.e. the idolators)
Unbelievers among People of the Book (Jews) are vile b/c they were told the truth (about one true God) and still don't follow their 'Bible'.
Next three are opinions, not the 'word of God'
69:30-37, no idea.
3:116, wealth and family cannot save you from hell if you sin. God is more powerful than money.
9:29, Be the kings where you live and don't be subject to other religions.
Any religion that believes in one God is a believer. (Jews, Christians, and Muslims are all believers)
2:88 The Parisees and such among the Jews. Jews who don't follow their own religious teachings.
2:90, God will punish sinners
4:76 Fighting in the way of Allah means don't kill women and children, don't destroy property, crops, etc, stop fighting when the enemy stops.
That clear it up? The Koran was written for the people alive at the time of its writing. The Jews, Christians, idolators, and unbelievers were real people who came into contact with Mohammed himself. It is not meant to be taken as a commandment for all time, although many militant Muslims use it that way. just like Christians use the Bible to justify bombing abortion clinics and such.
The Koran is an example of how Muslims should act by looking at how God told Mohammed to act. The people that Mohammed was fighting were trying to kill him and wipe out islam.

For #1 u didnt put the whole meaning for that sentence u just put the ending. The whole thing means, "Then, when the months made unlawful for fighting expire.." and then ur part comes. This is saying that Mohammed (s) had made a treaty with the Jews and they were at peace until the jews broke the promise, "wen the months EXPIRE", then they had the rite 2 fite them in war.
In #2 God is telling the believers that while they r at war He will help them and he encourages them in fiting for their religion
#3 says that those who deny the message will pay for it in Hell
all u hav 2 do 2 understand these things is pick up a Quran and its meaning and explanation and find out for urself, u gave 2 many verses that it wood take a long explanation and i m not gonna sit on the comp that long.

Well for one you have not read the entire verse. For instance:
101. When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies.
102. When thou (O Messenger. art with them, and standest to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with thee, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostrations, let them Take their position in the rear. And let the other party come up which hath not yet prayed - and let them pray with thee, Taking all precaution, and bearing arms: the Unbelievers wish, if ye were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush. But there is no blame on you if ye put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because ye are ill; but take (every) precaution for yourselves. For the Unbelievers Allah hath prepared a humiliating punishment.
Two, unbelievers will interpret this verses as violently as possible whereas believer (which include Jews, Christians, and Muslims) but especially Muslims (because we have been taught the right meaning) interpret it as peacefully as possible.
Some verses of the Quran do not apply today and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) makes that clear in Hadith
May you find the truth in Islam, which is only available through a Muslim. But beware, after 9/11 many claim to be a scholar or to be schooled in the religion, but only to defame Islam.

You have taken the sweetest verses of the Quran to strengthen your question.
Quran was not a book between two covers when Muhammad received his Revelation.
Muhammad became the enemy of the Quraish when he chose to worship One God, and enemies mean to destroy you, so you must defend yourself.
Its like USA today trying to destroy Muslims and Islam and the Quran, with a smile, though a crooked one, and expect that Muslims must lie down and let USA walk over Islam and Muslims and Quran and Allah.
If you choose to treat us like Muhammad's enemies treated him, then we have no choice, we must fight back, and fight we will.
Why do Christians expect everybody else to be dumb for their own gains and ambitions?
Do you know anything about equal rights and justice for all?
Allah has made the most promises and the best promises to those who trade their goods and their persons for Paradise, and we trust in Allah alone.
If you want to go to Heaven but you do not want to die, we long to see the face of our Lord, Allah, and dont take me literally to mean that Allah has a face like we have faces. Allah uses many allegorical verses in His Quran

too many references to answer in this forum but a general answer would be for you to look at the context of the verses you are quoting. all of them are out of context.
just as an example, the first verse you have quoted is from Surah Taubah, CHapter 9, verse 5. But doesn't the immediate verse say "turn them out FROM WHERE THEY HAVE TURNED YOU OUT, BUT EXCEED NOT LIMITS?"
Islam and Muslims are ordered not to accept oppression and aggression.

The verse you have quoted is to be understood within the context of state of war. No where in the Noble Quran or Islamic literature, one would find a call for murder. The Quran does not demand belief - the Quran invites belief, and here is the fundamental difference between Islam and other religions. It is not simply delivered as: Here is what you are to believe, but throughout the Quran the statements are always: Have you O man thought of such and such, have you considered so and so. It is always an invitation for you to look at the evidence; now what do you believe ?
Quran says:
Surah 2:190
"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors.
Surah 8:61
"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things)
Surah 5:28
"If thou dost stretch thy hand against me, to slay me, it is not for me to stretch my hand against thee to slay thee: for I do fear God, the cherisher of the worlds.
Surah 2:193
"And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for God. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers.
Surah 60:8-9
God forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for God loveth those who are just.God only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes.

verses relating to fighting or "killing" refer to those who aggressed against Muslims and mostly [especially in Chapters 8&9 of the Quran] refer to idolatrous Arabs who committed "war crimes" against Muslims.

see that is the point....
you are getting just a line form a chapter...
you have to know the reason why a certain passage was produced by GOD..
and each passage has a significances....
to know the exact meaning you need to read and know what that passage is....teaching you and in what pretext it was produced...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
its just like reading the cover of a book and telling what is in the book...
