The best lesson I've learned from life is not to be attached to material things. I learned this when I lost everything in a fire, and the only surviving things were the people that I loved, my husband and daughter. Now I just don't care about material things, because I know that they don't mean anything and could be gone tomorrow. My children make me happy.

Over my 32 years of life i have learnt many lessons in life these are just a few that really affected me the most.
I learned not to trust people, even if its your family....Everyone is out there for them selves these days and they would do anything and say anything to get what they want...
Also another vert important lesson for me was to be glad and happy with what is given to you and dont ask for more. when you want more theres a chance you would loose the little you have as well.
And never let your jealousy turn you into somebody you are not.
Always have the guts to tell somebody how much you love them and what they really mean to you before you loose them.

My parents were honest, hard working people with moral values and a stong sense of accountability and responsiblity. I learned these values from them. I also learned not everyone is that way after I was lied to and screwed over a few times. I think people see our family as honest and hard working. I trust my brothers and sisters because I know they carry on the values my parents instilled in us. I would trust my brothers and sisters with my life and anything I own. Those values were learned and mean a lot to me.
A quiet day with no problems makes me happy.

Keep 10 grand spare and only do work that suits you.
Don't smoke or do drugs past 30
Don't drink like a fish everyday past 30 either
Have at least one kid before that
Stick w. your wife even if it's hell sometimes
Try to fool around but be unsuccessful
Cars are more trouble than they are worth
Tell people what they do for a living, they get a real surprise when you're right.

The best lesson I have yet learned is that no one single person or thing holds the answer to happiness, and no single mate or friend can meet all your needs except for God. The lesson is that we need God in every aspect and every moment of our lives. Even when we are unconscious we are in need of His greatness in our lives. We have to trust in Him.
I also learned that heartache and unhappiness are the best seasonings in our life because they force us to go beyond where we have been comfortable and find ways to overcome our humanness by accepting our need for God.
Lastly, by accepting the truth about life and God, we find inner joy regardless of our circumstances...Life is only complete when we aren't living it selfishly, but for God.

Probably the awareness of the shortness of our time on earth, and that fighting over small issues will not be what stands out on your death bed. Live for the little moments of how ur dog looks at you, or a funny laugh someone does. In the end, noone regrets NOT working enough. Enjoy life, because it is GOOD!!!!!!!
