In detail, my natural color is ash blonde. I have now dyed it to a beautiful red that I wished I always had, and it looks great on me as well. Problem is, I simply don't know what to tell people when they ask me what my hair color is or make me feel bad for dying my hair. Please provide your insight.

Say red because it is red now. If they ask you your natural color, say blonde. :)

Well most people ask your hair color for a description. If you tell them you have blond hair that would not be true, you have red hair. You may add that your hair is naturally blond, but that is up to you. So I suggest you tell them what it is...red.

That sounds really pretty, red is such a sensual and sexy color - I'm sure it looks great on you!

You shouldn't be afraid to tell people that the color of your hair is red - there's nothing wrong with dying your hair =)

if someone has a problem with you dying your hair, they need a reality check. i've dyed more hair more times than i can remember, and not once has anybody questioned my morality or who i am as a person.

it's just hair!

You are now a redhead. You say your hair is the color it now is except for your legal documents.
